We can also say that Six sigma is a set of tools and techniques and is a methodology in which process improvement is done with the help of data.
Today it is widely used or implemented in many sectors of Industry.

Six sigma seeks to improve the quality of the process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects , errors and by minimizing the variability in the manufacturing.

3.) It targets to bring down the error rate to 3.4 PPM ( parts per million ) which is Six sigma.
